Meet Vusi Seroka, founder of Indalo Mech, a proudly local water treatment company that has been making waves in Richards Bay since 2017. As a qualified Water Treatment Specialist, Vusi has dedicated his career to ensuring that communities have access to clean, safe water, an often invisible but essential part of everyday life.
“Water is life,” says Vusi. “And being in this field means we’re contributing directly to the health and sustainability of our communities.”
Indalo Mech was born out of a desire to see greater representation and transformation in the water treatment sector. “We noticed a lack of black-owned businesses specialising in water treatment in the Richards Bay area,” Vusi explains. “We wanted to change that and demonstrate that local expertise exists, and thrives right here at home.”
The company focuses on water treatment solutions and also supplies valves, pumps, and seals, critical components in water infrastructure and maintenance. Whether it’s optimizing filtration systems or resolving complex operational issues, Indalo Mech brings practical solutions with long-term impact.
When asked what advice he’d offer aspiring entrepreneurs, Vusi is clear: “Stay consistent. Be practical. And most importantly, apply discipline when it comes to your finances.”
With a vision for a cleaner, more sustainable future, Vusi Seroka and Indalo Mech continue to lead with purpose, proving that when passion meets discipline, real change is possible.
